Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their network across Medway and surrounding areas. Work across secondary schools delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates have experience with secondary students, strong classroom management, and good communication.

QTS preferred. This role offers day-to-day, short-term and ongoing supply with flexible opportunities that fit around your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary-aged students is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are required.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are important.
• A safeguarding-focused, calm and adaptable approach is valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure learning continues during teacher absence.
• Manage classroom behaviour and support students with tasks.
• Create a positive learning environment across diverse subjects.
