Job summary

Herne Bay High School is seeking reliable Exams Invigilators to join our friendly exams team for the busy exam periods. This casual, seasonal role offers flexible hours during May–June and November, with full training provided and no prior invigilator experience required.

You will help ensure examinations are conducted fairly and in line with regulations, creating a calm and supportive environment for students while assisting with materials and room setup as needed.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
• Flexible seasonal work that fits around other commitments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during internal and external examinations.
• Ensure exam conditions and regulations are followed at all times.
• Create a calm, focused examination environment.
• Provide guidance to students within exam rules.
• Assist with preparation, distribution and collection of exam materials.
• Support with exam room setup and pack-down as needed.
• Work as part of a team to ensure exams run smoothly.
