Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Chesterfield is seeking reliable Agency School Support Workers to cover a variety of primary and secondary settings across the area. This role offers flexible working patterns to fit around your availability while gaining experience in different schools.

You will support teachers, assist pupils, and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. DBS checks are preferred and right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Positive, flexible and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers and school staff in the classroom.
• Assisting pupils with learning activities and behaviour management.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support where required.
• Supervising pupils during lessons, break times, and school activities.
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
