Recruitment Unlimited is actively seeking reliable Kitchen Assistants for temporary/ad-hoc school catering cover in Tiverton and surrounding areas. Roles include basic food prep, serving meals, and keeping the kitchen clean during school hours.

Candidates should be punctual, work well in a team, and be comfortable with cleaning duties. DBS clearance may be required; DBS-paid by us if needed. Flexible shifts offered as they arise.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and handling cleaning duties.
• Willingness to work during school hours and be flexible for ad-hoc shifts.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Assist with basic food preparation and serving of meals.
• Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining and prep areas.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Support the school's catering team and handle general duties as required.
