Job summary

The Children's Society in Stockton Heath is seeking a friendly Shop Assistant to support the shop manager and team. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist volunteers, and help maximise income from donated goods while maintaining shop presentation.

Flexibility including weekends is required. The role offers a sessional 0-hour contract with pay at £12.71 per hour and benefits such as enhanced pension, leave, and DBS checks as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service ethos and welcoming shop environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support volunteers.
• Organised and dependable in a busy shop floor and stockroom.
• Good IT skills including basic till operations.
• Retail experience and a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
