Job summary

Arkha in Dunfermline is seeking Relief Support Practitioners to provide flexible care support for people with learning disabilities. Shifts range from 3–16 hours across 7 days, with no contracted hours and opportunities to pick shifts that fit availability.

Relief work offers variety, with statutory annual leave paid monthly and PVG & 1st year SSSC registration funded by Arkha. Full training is provided and roles may be called Support Worker in other contexts.

Qualifications

• Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
