Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited are seeking a Relief Nursery Practitioner at Linmere Day Nursery in Houghton Regis. This permanent, zero-hours role offers varied relief shifts between 07:30 and 18:30, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £12.87–£14.33.

You will provide nurturing care to children under five, support their learning through play, and work closely with the team to observe and record developmental progress. Benefits include meals, wellbeing support, and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Some experience of caring for babies and children aged five and under.
• DfE approved early years qualification level 2 or higher is advantageous.
• You will support safeguarding and learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing care to children aged five and under.
• Assist with planned activities and observations for learning journeys.
• Collaborate with team and communicate with parents.
