Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a General Cover Teacher (QTS) to join our flexible supply network across Bristol. Ideal for experienced teachers, ECTs seeking breadth of classroom experience, or supply specialists valuing variety and balance.

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across subjects and year groups, maintain an inclusive learning environment, and provide clear handover notes. Pay £130–£160 per day, with options for full-time or part-time work and weekly PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability to different school environments.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment in line with school policies.
• Manage classroom behaviour constructively and ensure student safety and engagement.
• Leave detailed handover notes for returning class teachers at the end of the day.
