Job summary

Hanson Recruitment is looking to recruit psychology students and graduates to work as teaching assistants at schools in Bristol. The role offers flexible, well-paid work opportunities during term-time for those with Psychology, Counselling or Neuro-Science backgrounds.

Typical hours are 08:30-15:30 during school terms, with PAYE pay rates of £90-£105 per day. We provide ongoing support, training opportunities, and a referral scheme as part of our education recruitment service.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in any capacity (ideally sports).
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work between 08:30-15:30 hours during the week term-time.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated support to individual pupils and to the class.
• Supporting students' academic progress and development.
• Collaborating with the classroom teacher and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assisting with behaviour management and social-emotional development.
• Following school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policies.
