Job summary

Soaring Health in Melbourne is seeking an experienced psychologist to provide therapeutic sessions to referred clients, conduct assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team. You will prepare handouts, write reports, attend clinical supervision per APS/AHPRA guidelines, and contribute to complex case reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic sessions to referred clients using evidence-based interventions
• Conduct psychological assessments and prepare formulations to guide treatment
• Develop tailored treatment plans for referred clients using prior knowledge and research skills
• Collate handouts for referred clients for homework and therapeutic aids
• Complete electronic client notes and reports for sessions to APS/APA standards
• Write letters to other health professionals and external agencies to assist continual access to health services
• Prepare for and attend clinical supervision sessions per AHPRA guidelines
• Attend professional development in accordance with AHPRA registration requirements
• Attend case conferences for referred clients to assist in service provision
• If you hold clinical endorsement, manage a caseload weighted toward complex presentations and provide supervision to junior staff
