Aspire People is seeking a Floating Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Yardley. This full-time position starts in September 2026 and runs until July 2027, and will involve working with various age groups from Early Years to Year 6.

The successful candidate will need to be adaptable and confident, providing classroom support, delivering targeted interventions, and helping to foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• A flexible and positive approach to supporting children across all age groups.
• Confidence working with pupils from Early Years through to Year 6.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
• Work alongside class teachers to support teaching and learning.
• Deliver small group interventions and targeted support where required.
