Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting primary schools across Leeds in recruiting enthusiastic teachers to deliver engaging lessons and foster a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates hold QTS, have at least six months of primary school experience, and possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and be registered as a teacher.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a primary school.
• Enhanced DBS checked and on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Adapt to different school settings, routines and expectations.
• Provide continuity of learning during teacher absences.
