Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting for Primary School Teachers across Leeds to deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. Roles vary from day-to-day supply to short-term and longer-term contracts, depending on experience and availability.

Successful candidates will have QTS, DBS Update Service, and at least 6 months of primary school experience. We offer flexible working patterns within a supportive educational recruitment network.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a primary school setting.
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Adapting to different school settings, routines and expectations.
• Providing continuity of learning during teacher absences.
