Job summary

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a confident Primary Teacher for assignments across Walsall, offering flexibility and a choice of longer placements or daily supply work. You will deliver engaging lessons to pupils across KS1-2, plan schedules, and adapt to diverse learning needs, while collaborating with teaching assistants and school teams.

QTS is essential and a minimum of six months UK teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Minimum 6 months' UK teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• References covering the last 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Adapt teaching to cater to a broad range of abilities and learning needs
• Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and wider school teams to maximise learning
