Job summary

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers for Wolverhampton. You will work across different year groups in welcoming primary schools, with flexible long-term, daily or short-term assignments to fit your schedule.

You will plan and deliver lessons, adapt to EYFS/KS1/KS2 as needed, maintain inclusive classrooms, assess progress, and follow safeguarding policies. QTS is essential; UK classroom experience preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Minimum 6 months UK classroom teaching experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Confidence teaching within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Ability to differentiate lessons for a range of abilities and needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to provide references covering the most recent 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress regularly.
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other staff to maximise learning.
• Provide effective short-term cover by following existing lesson plans and routines.
