Job summary

Teaching Personnel Cambridge is recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teachers to work in schools across Cambridge and Ely. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for all learners, and monitor progress in welcoming environments.

We support flexible, long-term and permanent placements with a dedicated consultant, free CPD, and opportunities across Cambridgeshire. DBS checks are required or can be arranged.

Qualifications

• QTS required and UK primary teaching experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across Cambridgeshire and across Cambridge/Ely.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs and school leadership teams.
• Contribute to wider school activities where appropriate.
