Job summary

Vision for Education is partnering with REAch2 to place a Primary Supply Teacher at Chigwell Primary School, Thurrock, Essex. This role offers day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term opportunities with both full-time and part-time hours.

You will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, creating an inclusive and well-managed classroom while adapting activities to pupils’ needs and supporting safeguarding across the learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, professional and enthusiastic approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with planning and curriculum.
• Teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on assignment.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.
• Adapt learning activities to meet varying abilities and needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and progress.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain continuity of learning.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
