Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking confident and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across EYFS-KS2 in Halton. You will step into different classroom environments, set expectations quickly and deliver engaging lessons to maintain continuity of learning.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS or equivalent, have experience across primary year groups, strong behaviour management, and a flexible, professional approach. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required for all placements.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification.
• Experience teaching across EYFS to KS2.
• Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively.
• Flexible, resilient and able to build rapport quickly with pupils.
• Professional, reliable and positive approach to supply teaching.
• Strong safeguarding understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2 with clear objectives.
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management for a calm learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to different ages, abilities and school settings.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each assignment.
