Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking flexible Supply Teachers to cover primary and secondary classes across East Riding. This role offers day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, or longer-term placements within East Riding schools.

We provide PAYE payroll, with daily rates starting from £130, and opportunities to scale for longer-term roles. You will join a supportive consultant network to secure placements that fit your availability and expertise.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in UK primary or secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Willingness to cover planned and unplanned absences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively across East Riding schools.
• Manage classroom behaviour according to school policies.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for pupils.
• Adapt to routines and expectations of different schools.
• Provide feedback to schools on lesson delivery and student progress.
• Supervise students and maintain classroom order.
• For longer-term supply roles, assist with planning and assessment duties.
