Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Supply Teacher to cover day-to-day placements across Tameside and surrounding areas. You’ll bring QTS or equivalent and enjoy the flexibility to shape your week with agency-supported school placements.

Ideal candidates will have primary teaching experience, strong classroom management, and an updated DBS or willingness to obtain one. Competitive daily rates are paid weekly as you match with suitable schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day supply across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in partner primary schools.
• Work in a variety of primary schools across Tameside and surrounding areas.
• Choose your days and manage a flexible schedule.
• Take over classrooms with pre-planned lessons where available; build relationships for longer-term bookings.
