Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a motivated Primary Supply Teacher to support schools near Corby and across North Northamptonshire. Choose day-to-day cover or long-term placements, with flexible scheduling and a range of year groups from EYFS to KS2.

You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive, inclusive environment, and adapt to different school settings. A QTS and DBS are required; dedicated local consultant support and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
• Solid knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum or EYFS framework.
• Confident classroom management skills and an approachable, encouraging teaching style.
• An adaptable, proactive mindset, ready to hit the ground running in different school environments.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum or EYFS framework across your preferred age groups.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to achieve.
• Differentiate learning tasks effectively to challenge high achievers while supporting children who need extra help.
• Maintain strong classroom management and implement school behaviour policies consistently.
• For long-term roles: take ownership of lesson planning, ongoing assessment, tracking pupil progress, and communicating with parents.
