Job summary

Academics Hemel Hempstead is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in local schools. This role offers daily supply and short-term cover with a friendly, well-established agency.

We welcome applicants with or without school-based experience who are enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn. Flexible working patterns and ongoing consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is preferred.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Reliable, flexible and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in mainstream classrooms.
• Providing 1:1 support, including support for pupils with additional needs (SEN).
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour management and pupil engagement.
• Adapting to different school environments on a daily or short-term basis.
