Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking kind, reliable and proactive care assistants to support a gentleman living in Duddo, near Berwick-upon-Tweed. The role is part-time with 35 hours per week and flexible call times around 9am, 1pm, 5pm, and 9pm.

Salary is £14.67 per hour, with a shift system including two carers per day and weekend cover. Applicants may be employed or self-employed. Driving license and access to own car are preferred.

Qualifications

• Kind, reliable and proactive care assistants sought to support a gentleman in Duddo.
• Flexibility and willingness to share shifts (job-sharing welcome).
• Experience with feeding, medication prompting and personal care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with meals and drinks.
• Assist with washing, dressing and toileting.
• Prompt and support medication administration.
• Light household duties including laundry, bedding, and shopping.
• Provide personal and domestic care to support independence.
• Support social, leisure activities and daily living.
