Perfect Household Staff Ltd in Glasgow Southside is seeking a part-time live-out housekeeper to provide reliable domestic support three days per week, four hours per day. The role focuses on cleaning, laundry, ironing, kitchen and bathroom care, and ensuring rooms are tidy and comfortable.

Two large dogs are present; the ideal candidate will be calm, discreet, and professional with excellent English, trustworthiness, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ professional domestic housekeeping experience.
• Excellent general cleaning and household-maintenance skills.
• Strong laundry, ironing, folding, and linen-care experience.
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods for quality household surfaces.
• Exceptional attention to detail and respect for personal belongings.
• Proactive and able to identify household priorities independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Good communicative English.
• Discreet, calm, and professional; comfortable around large dogs.
• Valid UK right to work, with references and DBS willingness.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the household ensuring cleanliness and comfort
• Resetting the kitchen, washing dishes, and ensuring worktops and surrounding areas are left clean and orderly
• Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms, toilets, and associated surfaces
• Carefully managing household laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing or folding, and putting items away
• Changing beds and managing household linen and towels as required
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining floors and general surfaces
• Emptying household bins and dealing with household waste appropriately
• Checking the refrigerator and disposing of expired food when required
• Keeping frequently used household areas tidy, organised, and comfortable
• Giving additional attention to whichever area of the home most requires it once regular duties are complete
• Delicate handling of clothing, linen, furnishings, and personal belongings with appropriate care and respect
• Working independently, discreetly, and efficiently while remaining considerate of the family’s privacy and routines
