Job summary

Truro and Penwith College's nursery in Truro is seeking Bank Early Years Practitioners to join on an as-needed basis. This role offers flexible hours within the 8:00am–6:00pm window to support babies and young children.

You'll work with a friendly team, provide high-quality care, and help deliver engaging activities that promote development. A Level 2 childcare qualification and 12 months of EY experience are required.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) and 12 months experience in an Early Years setting.
• Flexible approach and willingness to work shifts to meet nursery needs.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's early learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the care, learning and development of babies and young children.
• Help create a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
• Contribute to engaging activities that promote curiosity, creativity and confidence.
• Ensure high standards of care and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
