Job summary

Vernon Thomas Recruitment is assisting an established financial planning firm in recruiting an experienced Paraplanner (Level 4 qualified). The role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support, preparing suitability and recommendation reports, and conducting research in pensions, investments and financial planning.

You will work closely with Financial Advisers, provide due diligence, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Experience preparing suitability reports and supporting holistic financial advice.
• Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive suitability and recommendation reports and annual reviews.
• Undertake detailed product and investment research.
• Provide technical support to Financial Advisers and conduct due diligence.
• Ensure all recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with advisers and administrators to deliver a great client experience.
• Support and coach less experienced paraplanning team members.
• Contribute to ongoing development and improvement of internal processes.
