Job summary

MedicsPro Ltd. is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 6) in Derby, with recent NHS or private sector experience. The role offers flexible shifts and the option of full-time agency work, covering days from 7:30am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will support the operating room team by preparing sterile instruments, supplying items as needed, and assisting in post-procedure cleaning and instrument counting to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room by ensuring sterile instruments and supplies are ready for use.
• Assisting the surgical team by providing instruments and anticipating surgeon needs for a smooth operation.
• Collaborating with circulating nurses to manage paperwork and supply logistics in the OR.
• After procedures, helping clean the room and count instruments to ensure nothing is left inside the patient.
