Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking Nursery Practitioners (Qualified & Unqualified) to join our Fareham-based early years supply team. Choose shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, to fit your schedule, with local work to minimise travel.

Qualified applicants hold CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years; unqualified candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome. DBS Update Service preferred or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with children in nursery, nanny, childminder, or school settings.
• Qualified candidates: CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years; unqualified welcome if passionate and hardworking.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service (or willing to apply).
• Ability to commute to Fareham and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children aged 0-5.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, hygiene, and diaper changes.
• Support permanent staff with play-based learning aligned with EYFS.
• Ensure child safety by following safeguarding and health & safety policies.
• Bring energy, warmth and professionalism to every setting.
