Job summary

Humly is urgently seeking Nursery Practitioners (qualified and unqualified) to join the Humly community, supporting a variety of early years settings across the South Hampshire region. With a minimum of 3 months’ referenceable experience in early years education, you’ll enjoy full flexibility—choose when and where you work, whether ad hoc or on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months’ referenceable experience in an early years education setting.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two proofs of address required.
• Confident communicating with children, families and colleagues.
• Willingness to follow EYFS and safeguarding guidance.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Be actively involved in play-based learning, activities, and outings.
• Greet every child with a warm, welcoming approach.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
• Work collaboratively with nursery teams.
• Follow and support daily nursery routines.
• Assist with snack and meal times, tidying, and light domestic tasks.
