Job summary

Academics Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Teachers for short and long term supply roles across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and Cheshire. You will join a large partnership with daily, short-term and long-term placements, earning competitive PAYE rates through flexible ad-hoc work.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, strong EYFS knowledge, and Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain it. You will be supported by a dedicated consultant to guide your career.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of the national EYFS curriculum.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to work towards it.
• Flexible, positive, professional approach.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with learners and staff.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursery teaching across ad-hoc, short-term and long-term placements.
• Adapt to a variety of primary schools and client requirements.
• Adhere to safeguarding and DBS checks as part of agency procedures.
• Work with a dedicated consultant to secure suitable roles and progression.
