Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is recruiting Relief Mobile Roaming Security Officers to cover Bedford and Northampton on a zero hours basis. You will be deployed to a cluster of high-priority sites, using a company vehicle to provide proactive, intelligence-led security presence.

Essentials include an active SIA Licence, a Full UK Manual Driving Licence, and at least 1 year frontline security guarding experience.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence required.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence required; company vehicle provided.
• Minimum 1 year frontline security guarding experience, retail/mobile preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Calm, confident, and professional under pressure with conflict handling.
• Smart appearance and proactive, can-do attitude expected.
• Familiarity with using digital devices for daily reporting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Deploy across an assigned cluster of sites using a company vehicle.
• Conduct proactive, high-visibility patrols of client premises.
• Identify trends in criminality and feed intelligence to the Amberstone Crime Desk.
• Liaise with management, Police, and local authorities as required.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with policy.
• Carry out thorough security checks across all assigned premises.
• Digitally report incidents and gather intelligence using company phone/tablet.
• Produce clear incident reports in a timely manner.
• Operate Body Worn Cameras in line with policy.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders via radio and other channels.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, colleagues, and the public.
