Job summary

JDR is seeking a Mechanical Production Engineer for a permanent, on-site role in Bridgwater, Somerset. The engineer will drive mechanical design, develop concepts, and refine existing designs, ensuring drawings, BOMs, and specifications meet standards and cost targets.

Key responsibilities include creating 2D/3D drawings, evaluating manufacturing processes, and collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to deliver robust, cost-effective products.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing production processes and practices.
• 2D/3D drawings with Inventor.
• Proficient in BOM management and ERP integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
