Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a dynamic Maths Teacher for flexible short-term and long-term vacancies across Nottingham and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4, adapt for varying abilities, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, with strong subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management. Salary is paid weekly through PAYE, with access to exclusive deals and wellbeing services via our pay

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum.
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to engage and motivate pupils across different key stages.
Adaptable and professional approach across varied school settings.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the secondary curriculum.
Teach a range of mathematical topics across KS3 and KS4.
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Use effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
Assess and record pupil progress where required.
Work collaboratively with department staff and support teams.
Contribute positively to wider school life during longer-term placements.
