Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 4 hours and potential to extend to 12 hours.

You'll unload mail and parcels, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse, aiming to meet tight deadlines. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but training is provided for all new hires.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Experience in warehouse or sorting is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 11kg.
• Must be able to push trolleys up to 250kg.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels
• Sort by postcode and move through warehouse
• Meet tight deadlines - some teams sort over a million items in a single shift
• Handle election materials and some items (food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards
