Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd on behalf of Royal Mail seeks a Post Person with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving and on-foot delivery to meet daily targets.

This temporary role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to six points, and the stamina to walk long distances while handling a mailbag.

Shifts vary from dawn to night; training and a driving assessment are provided, with rates shown in the pay card.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must be able to walk long distances (around 20,000 steps per day) and handle a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Be adaptable to varying shifts and able to work at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your round, driving a Royal Mail van.
• Occasionally deliver on foot as part of your route to complete tasks.
• Provide reliable, friendly service to customers in your community.
