Locums First is seeking a skilled practice nurse for flexible locum sessions in Staines-upon-Thames and surrounding areas. You will cover treatment room clinics, wound care, immunisations and chronic disease reviews within primary care teams.

Experienced in general nursing tasks and able to adapt to different clinics, you will support NHS health checks, smear tests where trained, and maintain accurate clinical notes.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training beneficial.
• Able to adapt to different clinical teams and service structures.
• Familiarity with common primary care systems.

Responsabilités

• Delivering treatment room clinics including wound care and dressings.
• Supporting chronic disease management within established care plans.
• Carrying out immunisations for adults and children (if trained).
• Undertaking smear tests where cytology-trained.
• Performing NHS Health Checks and lifestyle assessments.
• Recording accurate clinical notes for each service.
• Assisting with general nursing duties as required.
