Locum Ready in Padstow is seeking flexible Locum Nurse Practitioners to deliver NP-led clinics across primary care settings. This role offers fully flexible sessions across weekday, evening or weekend slots and the option for regular ongoing work or ad-hoc bookings.

As part of Locum Ready, you will support GP practices and community services with independent patient assessments, triage, and prescribing where qualified, ensuring safe and effective primary care delivery.  

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical background.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community settings.
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running independent NP clinics across primary care services.
• Managing minor illness presentations and routine patient assessments.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing within scope (if qualified).
• Handling clinical actions such as results and medication reviews.
• Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes.
• Supporting wider clinical teams where required.
