Job summary

Locums First in Stanley is seeking Locum Nurse Practitioners to provide flexible NP-led clinics across primary care settings. You will deliver independent clinics, assess patients, and support triage and brief clinical duties.

The role offers fully flexible sessional work with weekday, evening or weekend availability, allowing balance between autonomy and local opportunities. DBS clearance and NP qualifications are required; Independent Prescribing desirable.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical background.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community settings.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running independent NP clinics across primary care services
• Managing minor illness presentations and routine patient assessments
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing within scope (if qualified)
• Handling clinical actions such as results and medication reviews
• Recording accurate and compliant clinical notes
• Supporting wider clinical teams where required
