Locum Ready is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to support a GP practice in Stockton On Tees. The role offers flexible sessions with a clear structure for daily clinical work and strong administrative backing.

You will manage varied caseloads, perform high‑quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required, within a supportive primary care environment and established workflows.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Recent UK primary care experience
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries
• Prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
