Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting General Practitioners for flexible, sessional work across multiple primary care services in Creebridge and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability, with support from clinical teams and clear workflows.

You will provide urgent access and routine GP care, including phone triage, reviews and prescribing within scope, while maintaining accurate notes in service systems and coordinating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with active licence to practise.
• Inclusion on NHS Performers List is required.
• Indemnity cover must be valid for locum practice.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings.
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage.
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries.
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service systems.
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams.
