Job summary

Locums First is seeking GMC-registered General Practitioners to cover flexible sessions in Mablethorpe across multiple primary care services, offering autonomy, variety and regular weekly availability.

You will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone triage and clinical care with supportive teams; to do so you must have NHS Performers List inclusion, an Enhanced DBS and indemnity, and be able to adapt quickly to new environments.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP required.
• NHS Performers List inclusion required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.
• Locum GP roles offering flexible shifts across primary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across different primary care settings.
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage.
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries.
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems.
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.
