Job summary

Locums First in Robertsbridge is seeking GMC-registered General Practitioners for flexible locum sessions across multiple primary care settings. This role offers autonomy, variety and weekly availability tailored to your schedule.

You will deliver urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone triage and clinical support, with clear workflows and supportive teams in each site. NHS Performers List inclusion and indemnity are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered and NHS Performers List included.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across different primary care settings.
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage.
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries.
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes in service-specific systems.
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.
