Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Benfleet. This role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment that provides clear daily workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, conduct high-quality patient assessments and deliver continuity where required, with strong admin support and established clinical workflows enabling efficient session delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine GP clinics and managing acute presentations.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and documenting consultations in the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with follow-up tasks.
