Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional sessions across Auchterarder. You will support GP teams with nursing duties, chronic disease reviews, immunisations (where trained) and NHS Health Checks, in well-supported clinic environments.

This role offers fully flexible, sessional work across weekdays/evenings/weekends, with ad-hoc or ongoing opportunities. You will work independently within GP settings, maintain digital notes, and comply with local care

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with primary care experience.
• Immunisation and cytology training desirable.
• Strong treatment room competency and independent working.

Responsibilities

• Delivering treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings
• Supporting chronic disease reviews in line with local care plans
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations (if trained)
• Performing smear tests where cytology-trained
• Conducting NHS Health Checks and routine assessments
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical notes
