Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners for flexible sessional work at Callander and surrounding primary care settings.

As a Locum ACP, you will deliver autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations, and support routine primary care activity. Sessions are arranged to suit your schedule, including short-term, ad-hoc, or regular weekly bookings, with remote or on-site options where available.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner with Level 7 qualification.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assess undifferentiated presentations.
• Provide telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe within your scope of practice.
• Support clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Document accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
