Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners for Carronbank House to provide flexible, sessional work across local primary care providers. You will join established clinical teams for autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations, and support routine primary care activity, with sessions arranged to suit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice.
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems.
