Job summary

The Booker Group is seeking a professional LGV2 delivery driver to service customers across the Banbury area. You will be responsible for delivering products intact and on time, maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with safety and food standards.

Essentially, you must hold an LGV Class 2 licence with a valid CPC, and be prepared for a 48-hour week including Saturdays. The role includes entry into a well-established distribution network and potential overtime in peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card.
• Delivery driver experience preferred within a wholesale/logistics environment.
• Knowledge of Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full as per the delivery schedule.
• Complete delivery notes, credits, and collections documentation.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and other’s Safety.
• Ensure Food safety Legislation and Chill Chain Standards compliance.
• Maintain LGV and perform safety checks; complete defect book.
• Collect all empty equipment from the customer.
• Cooperate with driver debrief and undertake other duties as directed by Shift Management.
