Job summary

Amenable Staffing is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) and Support Workers for daily shifts across March in March (PE15). You will support adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities in Day Centres and Independent Living Services with flexible scheduling and fast-track onboarding.

Responsibilities include person-centred care, daily activities, independence promotion, safe moving/handling, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK healthcare as HCA or Support Worker, LD/ILS preferred.
• Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• Full work history with at least 2 professional references in last 3 years.
• CPD-accredited mandatory training such as Moving & Handling, Safeguarding etc.
• Two official proofs of address dated within last 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and daily living support to adults with learning disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities in day centres and supported living environments.
• Promote independence, dignity, and positive behavioural support.
• Support mobility and safe transfers using proper moving and handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate daily records, shift notes, and handovers.
