Job summary

Academics are seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher for flexible supply work across Retford. You will teach across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 depending on school needs, with day-to-day, short-term and longer-term opportunities.

The role suits experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers who enjoy variety and want ongoing exposure to multiple primary schools in Retford. DBS required or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous primary teaching experience required or strongly preferred.
• KS1 experience desirable to deliver lessons across Reception to Year 2.
• Solid understanding of the primary curriculum and safeguarding.
• Ability to manage behaviour and adapt to different schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS and KS1 where appropriate.
• Support pupils' early learning and development.
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations.
• Establish positive classroom routines.
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
