Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a flexible Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply cover at a Bradford primary school. The role covers KS1 and KS2, supporting teachers with daily activities, 1:1 and small group work, and helping pupils develop literacy and numeracy.

You will join a supportive team with access to 24/7 consultants, CPD, and competitive daily rates (£90–£105). This part-time, on-site contract offers a chance to gain classroom experience across key stages while contributing

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children across KS1/KS2 in a UK primary school.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Good understanding of Primary National Curriculum including literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with daily activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist with literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
